If The Harding Raiders were feeling good off their 35-0 takedown of the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Harding fell just short of Hudson by a score of 24-21. Harding has struggled against Hudson recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Peyton Neher was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Hudson also got help from Trey Sharp who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Harding has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Hudson, their win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-2.
Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hudson will take on Walsh Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walsh Jesuit is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
