The Moffat County Bulldogs are taking a road trip to  face off against the Coal Ridge Titans  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Last Saturday, Moffat County beat Steamboat Springs 43-30.

 Moffat County got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Mena Tucker out in front who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on ten points, ten  boards,  and nine  steals. Tucker has been hot, having  posted three or more  steals the last eight times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caitlyn Adams, who  went 5 of 9  on her way to 14  points and six  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Coal Ridge narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Rifle  29-26.
 Coal Ridge's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Moffat County,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Moffat County didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Coal Ridge  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  43-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moffat County since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
