The Harvest Christian Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Islamic Foundation 75-39 at home. Winning may never get old, but Harvest Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Harvest Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Meeker, who scored 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Meeker has scored at least 25% of Harvest Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Callahan, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Harvest Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Harvest Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westminster Christian at 12:45 p.m. on December 16th. Westminster Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Islamic Foundation will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Unity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
