If Halifax Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played First Baptist Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Jay Rose. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 59-37 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Rose, who almost dropped a double-double with 33 points and nine rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least 19 points.

Despite the defeat, Halifax Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaneisha Washington posted 20 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Za'Myia Dixon was another key player, putting up 11 points.
