The Sentinel Spartans's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against Flathead by a score of 50-39. This was payback for Sentinel, who suffered a 51-49 loss the last time these two teams met.
Several Braves/Bravettes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Korbin Eaton, who scored ten points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Griffin, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Sentinel's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-3. As for Flathead, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Sentinel will head out on the road to square off against Glacier at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Glacier is ranked 81st, while Sentinel is ranked 61st). As for Flathead, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hellgate at 4:15 p.m. Hellgate is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
