After two games on the road, Chanhassen is heading back home. They will take on the Farmington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Chanhassen came up short against Prior Lake and fell 76-63. Chanhassen has not had much luck with Prior Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Lyla Hentges, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Arnold, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Farmington had to settle for a 59-57 loss against Mayo on Thursday.
With Chanhassen's win and Prior Lake's defeat, both teams now sport identical 1-1 records.
Everything went Chanhassen's way against Farmington when the teams last played back in January as Chanhassen made off with a 68-48 victory. Does Chanhassen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Farmington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
