The Buckeye Local Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 51-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of River.
Despite the loss, Buckeye Local still got an impressive performance from Brynn McKeever, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Maddy Roset was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Buckeye Local has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for River, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
