Douglas County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sire Hardaway, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of JAMES JOHNSON, who gained 128 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Newnan had to suffer through a rough 47-14 loss at the hands of Langston Hughes. While losing is never fun, Newnan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 186th, while Langston Hughes is ranked tenth).
