Jefferson Davis County got themselves on the board against Crystal Springs last week, but Crystal Springs never followed suit. Jefferson Davis County was completely in charge, breezing past Crystal Springs 40 to nothing. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27 to nothing.
Meanwhile, West Marion kept a clean sheet against Yazoo County. West Marion took their game with ease, bagging a 36 to nothing victory over Yazoo County. Jartavious Martin and Jeremiah Holmes were among the main playmakers for the Trojans as the former rushed for 101 yards and one TD on 13 carries and the latter picked up 32 yards on the ground on four carries and threw two passing touchdowns.
Jefferson Davis County came up short against West Marion the last time the two teams met in October, falling 16-6. Can Jefferson Davis County avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
