Franklin County Tech gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Turners Falls Thunder 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 18, 2024.
Mason Lehtomaki looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Hunter Donahue was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Brody Hicks was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
