Longview won the last time they faced Pleasant Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Longview Lobos breezed by the Pleasant Grove Hawks to the tune of 58-23. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Longview found their leader in freshman Maya Ward, who posted ten points along with six assists and six boards. Bethany Baltes was another key player, putting up eight points and five steals.

Longview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive contests.

Longview's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Pleasant Grove, they moved to 7-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Longview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-26 victory against Rusk on the 31st. As for Pleasant Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-35 loss against Mt. Pleasant on the 28th.
