Wapato was the 63-46 winner over Grandview when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wapato Wolves took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grandview Greyhounds on Saturday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wapato's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. As for Grandview, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Wapato and Grandview should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Wapato (ranked 100th) will meet Connell (ranked 226th) at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grandview will square off against East Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday up 157 places (95 vs. 252).
