Model had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Swainsboro Tigers on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Model, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Swainsboro from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Molly Allmon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

The win was the sixth in a row for Model, bringing their record up to 14-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Swainsboro, they moved to 13-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Model wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Thomasville on the 5th. Swainsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
