After a string of three wins, the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They took a hard 41-24 fall against Flinthills. Pretty Prairie was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Flinthills apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Kaylea Robinson and Ava White certainly did their best on Sunday to try and avoid the loss. Robinson scored 13 points along with 3 blocks, while White scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds. Robinson scored a full 54.2% of Pretty Prairie's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pretty Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Flinthills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pretty Prairie will take on Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flinthills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Altoona-Midway. Altoona-Midway comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
