Weston-McEwen dropped down to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Heppner Mustangs 61-6. The TigerScots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  48-6.

 Heppner got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Caleb George out in front who rushed for 74 yards and one  touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one  TD. Another player making a difference was  Joesph Albitre, who rushed for 61 yards and one  score.
