Scottsbluff's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nate Kelley, who shot 78% from the field on his way to 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Kelley is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Delgado, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 16 points and six boards.
Kelley wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Scottsbluff was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gretna East only six assists.
Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drayke Brown, who shot 56% from the field en route to 18 points and five assists. Talan Hovie was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Scottsbluff's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Gretna East, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
Scottsbluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-55 win against Elkhorn North on the 14th. Gretna East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
