The biggest upset of the week belonged to Zion Chapel, who took down 304th ranked Zion Chapel, 35-32.
Luverne extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 3 this week by beating New Brockton, 33-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Elba's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Johnson threw for 54 yards and Cobe Goosby had 52 yards receiving. On the ground Johnson chipped in 89 yards. Rajah Caldwell helped Elba's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
Elba's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 959 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Goosby has 20 catches for 352 yards. Johnson also leads the league in rushing with 480 yards.
Goshen and the Rebels played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Goshen eventually emerging with a 35-32 victory.
