Even though the Frederick Golden Eagles have not done well against the Northridge Grizzlies recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Frederick snuck past Northridge with a 46-40 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Frederick.
Frederick's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josie Stanton, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Stanton scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Gardner, who scored three points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.

Carbajal has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Savanna Amack, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
