Softball Recap: Douglas Has No Trouble Against Cholla

Douglas never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Cholla Chargers. Considering the Bulldogs have won 19 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Douglas and bumps their season record up to 22-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Cholla, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Coming up, Douglas will host Eastmark at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Cholla will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' matchup: after the Bulldogs face off against the Firebirds, they'll take on Cholla again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
