After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lafayette, Taylor County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Leon Lions with a sharp 14-4 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Kylie Crowley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Crowley was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Taylor County let Kiersten Carter and Rylan Compton run wild.
