After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Greenway, Deer Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Paradise Honors Panthers  2-0. For the Skyhawks, this counts as revenge for the   7-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in March of 2022.
The result came thanks to  Adyson Ordway's shutout, as she gave up just four  hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Deer Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Taylor Passalacqua, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Deer Valley's record is now 6-2-1. As for Paradise Honors, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Deer Valley has already played their next matchup,  a  10-0  victory against ALA - Gilbert North on the 11th. As for Paradise Honors, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  13-4  loss against Willow Canyon on the 12th.
