The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Lyman Memorial beat the Saints 41-34.
It was another big night for Jenny Lopez, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Makayla Piaseczny, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Norwich Free Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over the Tigers on Saturday, taking the game 51-44.
Lyman Memorial pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Norwich Free Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
