Given North Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while St. Stephens is ranked 233rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kellen Karr, who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. Karr hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Ty Sanders, who scored 20 points along with five assists.
North Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for St. Stephens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
