Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Baptist Academy Drops Season-High Score on Victory Baptist Academy

Shenandoah Baptist Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots by a score of 40-38. Shenandoah Baptist Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Victory Baptist Academy earlier this season, when they won 36-25.

Victory Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noella Price out in front who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylah Miller, who put up ten points.

Shenandoah Baptist Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Victory Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah Baptist Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Philadelphia Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on February 4, 2025. Victory Baptist Academy will take on Hendersonville Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
