Murray were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Ballard Memorial 57-13. Followers of Murray probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Murray started the contest off right with 21 first-half points. Ballard Memorial countered with 13 points, leaving the score at 21-13 going into the half. Murray put the match away in the third quarter with 29 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
The win makes it two in a row for Murray and bumps their record up to 6-3. Ballard Memorial are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
After their clash against one another, the teams are taking a break from conference action in their upcoming games. Murray will stay at home next week against Union County at 7:00 PM. Ballard Memorial will take on Fulton City at home at 7:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ballard Memorial and nine for Fulton City.
