The biggest upset of the week belonged to Twinsburg, who took down 105th ranked Solon, 29-22.
The Tigers moved up to 112 from 163 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northeast Ohio - Valley. Twinsburg climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Comets 29-22.
Mentor's dynamic duo of Mitch Trubisky and Nick Delisa proved tough for Medina to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Trubisky threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns and Delisa had 86 yards receiving. Brandon Fritts helped Mentor's passing attack out by catching five balls for 53 yards.
Nick Roberts was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 116 yards as Brunswick topped the Battling Bees. Keith Yohman also contributed to the rushing game with 42 yards on the ground.
Mentor's Trubisky and Conner Krizancic have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Trubisky has thrown for 1793 yards this season, while Krizancic, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 36 catches for 576 yards. Roberts from the Blue Devils leads the league in rushing with 735 yards.
A big matchup in Northeast Ohio - Valley this week will be when Steve Trivisonno's team takes on Strongsville. At the moment, the Cardinals are in first, while the Mustangs are in fifth.
Mentor extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Medina, 63-21. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
