The Mangham Dragons lost against the Bastrop Rams back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Year welcomed Mangham with a 56-10 whooping from Bastrop. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mangham has scored all season.
Bastrop's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jameiah Peoples, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antanasia Armstrong, who scored 11 points.
Mangham has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Bastrop, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 21-0-1.
Mangham will head out on the road to face off against Union Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union Parish is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Bastrop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brusly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brusly will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Bastrop is ranked 20th).
