Vernon took their contest against Camanche by a conclusive 53-21 score. That result was just more of the same for Mt. Vernon, who also won the last time these teams played. The match pushed Camanche down to 3-4 and pulled Mt. Vernon up to the reverse at 4-3.
Next week Mt. Vernon take on West Burlington/Notre Dame at 7:00 PM. West Burlington/Notre Dame are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Camanche, they will face off against West Liberty. West Liberty are cruising in on a three-game winning streak.
