The Satellite Scorpio will challenge the Eau Gallie Commodores at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Satellite is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Satellite proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Rockledge 10-9. Ten seems to be a good number for the Scorpio as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Brady Roberts made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Satellite is 7-2 when Roberts posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Noah Ott, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Ryan Ott was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Satellite hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Eau Gallie earned an 8-3 win over Lancaster on Friday.
Jovanni Hollenbeck looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Kayden Jaquez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Alex Barna, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Eau Gallie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Satellite, their record is now 14-10.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Satellite has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Eau Gallie struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Satellite couldn't quite finish off Eau Gallie when the teams last played back in March and fell 4-2. Can the Scorpio avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
