Everything went their way against Princeton on Wednesday as Neuse Charter made off with a 46-25 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neuse Charter.
Neuse Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Kozloff out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. The game was Kozloff's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Layla Johnson, who dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and ten steals.
The victory got Neuse Charter back to even at 6-6. As for Princeton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neuse Charter will finish 2023 at home by hosting Vance Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vance Charter is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Princeton will be home for the holidays to greet East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Duplin's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Princeton's offense will have their work cut out for Princeton.
