The 2021 Maryland high school football season enters the final stage. Teams have persevered through a rugged regular season not to mention COVID-19 and all its protocols to advance to the state's ultimate tournament.

There were no 2020 state championships due to the pandemic, but defending 2019 champions are Wise (4A), Damascus (3A), Middletown (2A) and Catoctin (1A).
