The Nanih Waiya Warriors had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against Eupora as Nanih Waiya made off with a 46-24 victory. The result was nothing new for Nanih Waiya, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Nyshea Hoskin, who scored 27 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Nanih Waiya's points. Another player making a difference was Alexzandria Eiland, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Nanih Waiya pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Eupora, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Nanih Waiya will head out on the road to face off against Winona at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winona will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Nanih Waiya is ranked 60th). Eupora will be home for the holidays to greet Bruce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bruce focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
