Richmond put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Warrensburg Tigers. That looming 7-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

Richmond has now won seven of their last eight games at home. That gives them a 6-0 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.14 runs across that stretch. As for Warrensburg, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg, they will host Harrisonville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
