Isaiah Gallegos Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Rocky Ford's Isaiah Gallegos, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gallegos threw for 246 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown.

Springfield pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. BATTERTON and Springfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against McClave at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Mcclave Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Mason Barr
Mason Barr's big game helped extend McClave's winning streak to six on Saturday. Las Animas had no answer to Barr as he picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 95 yards. Barr also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging three interceptions.

McClave picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Ethan Bronniman. Nobody could stop Bronniman as he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
For the season, Bronniman has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 98 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 8.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 45.83 rushing yards.
