Dunbar is 0-9 against Western Hills since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dunbar Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Western Hills Cougars at 8:00 p.m. Dunbar is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Dunbar was the victim of a rough 6-2 defeat at the hands of Benbrook. That's two games in a row now that Dunbar has lost by exactly four goals.
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Western Hills was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor Benbrook could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Dunbar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. Western Hills' draw makes their record 3-6-2 on the season.
Dunbar might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Western Hills when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Dunbar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
