Three Rivers recap Oct. 9, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Francis de Sales, who took down 149th ranked Ross, 24-13.
St. John's Jesuit moved up to 112 from 173 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Three Rivers. The Titans were able to make the jump by beating Clay 42-12.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Central Catholic and St. John's Jesuit meet this week. The Fighting Irish features well-regarded junior Deshone Kizer while Doug Pearson's team has Brogan Roback, a sought after senior.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Central Catholic takes on the Titans. Greg Dempsey's team is currently in second, while St. John's Jesuit is in fourth.
Whitmer extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Findlay, 56-25. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Panthers.
