Lakelyn Maloney was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Zariah St. Gerard, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.
Fern Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Eastern, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.
