Mira Monte had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-9 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Del Oro Suns as they made off with a 19-1 victory. That 18 run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

As for Del Oro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Del Oro's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anali Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Mira Monte will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Suns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
