Twiggs Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Nobles, who scored 12 points, and Jacob Smith who scored 14 points along with two steals.
The win (which was Memorial Day's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Twiggs Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Memorial Day will head out on the road to square off against First Preparatory Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. First Preparatory Christian Academy is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Twiggs Academy will take on Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
