On Thursday, the South Lake Eagles got the win against the Lake Weir Hurricanes by a conclusive 61-40. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lake Weir still got an impressive performance from Angel Henderson, who posted 11 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Henderson a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was John Smith, who earned 11 points.

South Lake has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Lake Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
