 In other batting news, Riverdale got a  massive  performance out of  Emily Rempp, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Elianna Saucedo, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 Yosemite's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 7-2. As for Riverdale, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
 Yosemite will head out on the road to  challenge  Minarets at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Minarets is coming into the  match with six straight  losses at home,  meaning Yosemite will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Riverdale, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Parlier at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Riverdale is facing Parlier at the right time seeing as Parlier is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
