The Overfelt Royals will head out on the road to take on the Del Mar Dons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Overfelt is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses.
On Wednesday, Overfelt took a serious blow against San Jose, falling 71-27.
Meanwhile, Del Mar's game on Wednesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mt. Pleasant. Del Mar has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Overfelt's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Del Mar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Overfelt suffered a grim 54-33 defeat to Del Mar in their previous meeting back in January. Can Overfelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
