The Bonney Lake Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They put the hurt on Stadium with a sharp 44-20 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Bonney Lake, who have now won three games by 24 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, Stadium still got an impressive performance from Darius Sum, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Bonney Lake's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Stadium, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonney Lake will take on Silas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Silas is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Stadium, they will be playing at home against Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Evergreen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Stadium is ranked 121st).
