Hoosick Falls extended the longest winning streak in Section 2 C - North this week by beating Fonda-Fultonville, 47-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Panthers.
Hoosick Falls took down the Braves 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Billy Pine threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 79 yards in the win.
Ron Jones' team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Brad Burns chipped in 194 yards. Josh Brogue helped Hoosick Falls' passing attack out by catching three balls for 83 yards.
Randy Tutunjian was the best wideout in the league this week as the Panthers beat Fonda-Fultonville. Tutunjian racked up five receptions for 102 yards.
Hoosick Falls' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Pine has thrown for 1262 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Tutunjian has 24 catches for 625 yards. Burns leads the league in rushing with 1469 yards.
Stillwater led Section 2 C - North in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on Voorheesville.
