Lugoff-Elgin found their leader in sophomore  Teryn Hobson, who  went 8 of 16  on her way to 18  points in addition to six  steals and four  blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Hobson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendra Wilson, who  went 6 for 12  on her way to 13 points and five  rebounds.
 Lugoff-Elgin  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, West Florence had to endure  a  14-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took their  game  last Monday with ease, bagging  a  54-3 victory over Central. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 West Florence's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lugoff-Elgin,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
