Nipmuc Regional was the  14-5 winner over Blackstone-Millville when they last played one another  back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors fell just short of the Blackstone-Millville Chargers by a score of  7-6 on Monday.

 Even though they lost, Nipmuc Regional was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 On Blackstone-Millville's side,  James Rebhan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Rebhan was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Rebhan wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Karson Cournoyer, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Jamus Greenstein, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Nipmuc Regional's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Blackstone-Millville, their victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-10.
 Nipmuc Regional will be playing at home against Westborough at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games Westborough has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Burncoat at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Burncoat will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Blackstone-Millville surely won't give up without a fight.
