The Rock Hills Grizzlies's six-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They managed a 32-26 victory over Tescott. The victory was just what Rock Hills needed coming off of a 47-23 defeat in their prior matchup.
Rock Hills was led to victory by Cooper McDill and Eli Whelchel. McDill scored 11 points along with eight rebounds, while Whelchel scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which McDill has scored at least a third of Rock Hills' points.
Rock Hills' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Tescott, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
Rock Hills will take on Sylvan-Lucas at TBD on Tuesday. As for Tescott, they will head out on the road to challenge St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. John's/Tipton Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
