Thomas Nelson got themselves on the board against Burgin on Monday, but Burgin never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 19-0. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine runs or more this season.

Thomas Nelson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Burgin, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Nelson will square off against Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burgin, they will venture away from home to challenge Cornerstone Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
