The Pontiac Indians won the last time they met up with the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. The Indians had enough points to win and then some against Illinois Valley Central on Tuesday, taking their contest 55-44. That's two games in a row now that Pontiac have won by 11 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Pontiac and bumps their record up to 14-11. This is the second loss in a row for Illinois Valley Central and nudges their record down to 18-8.
Pontiac will take on Tolono Unity on Friday. The Indians won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. The Grey Ghosts are on the road again on Friday and play against St. Joseph-Ogden. Illinois Valley Central has seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability St. Joseph-Ogden is surely hoping to exploit.
