P.J. Blazejowski and Gabe Davis provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Atlantic Coast. The longest such play in 6A District 4 this season, the connection resulted in 80 yards.
St. Augustine suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after. The Yellowjackets had been ranked 25th, but fell to 36 following the defeat.
Bartram Trail's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Blazejowski threw for 226 and two touchdowns and Davis had 157 yards receiving. On the ground Nick Uruburu chipped in 72 yards. Parker Davis helped Bartram Trail's passing attack out by catching two balls for 15 yards.
The Bears' Blazejowski and Davis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Blazejowski has thrown for 1152 yards this season, while Davis, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 20 catches for 414 yards. Jaques Riles from Lee leads the league in rushing with 345 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Stanton takes on Bartram Trail. The Blue Devils are in sixth place, while Darrell Sutherland's team is in second place.
Wolfson took down Englewood 60-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dorian McBride threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 46 yards in the win.
